Ethylene Dichloride has a wide range of applications, covering multiple industrial fields, and its core application scenarios are as follows: First, it is the core raw material for vinyl chloride monomer (VCM) production, accounting for more than 70% of its total usage. Under high temperature (500~550℃) and catalyst conditions, it undergoes thermal cracking reaction to generate vinyl chloride, which is the key upstream raw material of the PVC industry chain. Second, it is used as an industrial solvent, which can effectively dissolve rubber, resin, paint, ink and other substances, and is widely used in coating dilution, adhesive preparation and other fields.
Third, it is used in chemical synthesis, as an intermediate for the synthesis of ethylene glycol, ethylenediamine and other bulk chemicals, and is also used in the preparation of pesticide intermediates and pharmaceutical raw materials. Usage Instructions
1. Ethylene Dichloride is a flammable and toxic liquid, so it should be stored in a cool, ventilated and dry warehouse, with the warehouse temperature not exceeding 30℃, away from fire and heat sources, and should not be mixed with strong oxidants, alkalis, metal powders and other substances.
2. When using, operators must wear protective glasses, gas masks, anti-static work clothes and acid-alkali resistant gloves to avoid direct contact with the skin, eyes and respiratory tract.
3. The workplace should be equipped with forced ventilation equipment, and the allowable concentration in the air should not exceed 10mg/m³ (Chinese standard).
4. When used as a solvent and metal degreasing agent, it should be operated in a well-ventilated environment to avoid the accumulation of volatile gas.
